The Board also operates entry criteria to ensure the Centre continues to deliver upon its economic development objectives

Criteria against which prospective tenants are considered are as follows:-

cbtc2bulletTenants should be new start or developing knowledge-driven and/or technology based small firms.

cbtc2bulletThe firms should have existing or potential linkages to the higher education sector.

cbtc2bulletThe firms should have a viable Business Plan and should have a target of developing from the relevant Centre to new premises within 3-5 years.

cbtc2bulletTenants should be able to demonstrate that they will benefit from the supportive environment provided by the location, accommodation and related services.

All applications for entry will need to be supported by a viable Business Plan. Assistance is available to develop and fund business plans prior to companies being ready to take up accommodation at the centre.
